Registered contractors have been selected based on technical capability, including CanSIA certification (or near certification), capacity, health and safety, customer care and support, and fair pricing. In all circumstances, the total liability of Solar BC shall be limited to providing the $1000 discount for any installation that has been approved by SolarBC. SolarBC makes no warranties, representations or guarantees of any kind, whether expressed or implied. Please see the CMHC website for further guidance on selecting a contractor.

Become a Registered Installation Contractor

To apply to become a registered SolarBC contractor, you will need to become familiar with the following SolarBC documents:

Applications will be evaluated on the basis of technical capability, experience and proven track record, capacity (including other commitments), quality assurance (including risk management), health and safety, customer care and support, environmental policies and pricing. SolarBC reserve the right to reject applications and will endeavour to notify applicants of results within two weeks from receipt of their submission. SolarBC is not bound to register systems onto the program, reserves the right to seek expressions of interest directly from manufacturers and makes no representations or commitments as to the number of systems that will be registered onto the program.

Following the application process, all registered contractors and systems will be listed on the SolarBC website.
